Rangelands
What are rangelands?
Rangelands are non-timbered and uncultivated open landscapes that are dominated by native vegetation predominately utilized by wild and domestic grazings/browsing mammals. Rangelands can be distinguished from pasturelands they are primarily natural ecosystems with native vegetation rather than established vegetation introduced by humas (https://esa.org/rangeland/about/).
