CCNRD's Mission

Mission Statement: To Provide Coordinated Leadership in Resource Conservation to Assist and/or Meet the Needs of Resource Users.

Goals

  1. Water Quality: To conserve and improve the quality and quantity of water resources in Crook County.
  2. Legislative Information: To inform Crook County residents of current events regarding Legislative activity and issues.
  3. Range and Timber Management: To provide information and education to county residents enabling them to practice wise and productive management skills regarding range and timber.
  4. District Operations: To be accountable with the public funds and carry out all district programs in a responsible manner.
  5. Information & Education: To initiate and coordinate educational and informational programs addressing wise use and conservation of Crook County's natural resources.
  6. Waste Management: To increase public information/education efforts on issues of waste management and encourage recycling.

Office Hours

10:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m., Tuesday - Friday or by appointment

Meetings

The board of supervisors meet the first Tuesday of each month at 6:00 p.m. in the USDA conference center. Some exceptions occur when there are holidays or conventions.

Meetings are open to the public and are posted in the newspaper a week before they are held.
